Nursing Opportunities at Wohelo!!!!

AD TO BE POSTED ON ACN AND NURSING JOB BOARDS –

Wohelo is a 107 year old family run all-girls’, residential summer camp located on the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake just outside of Portland, Maine.   We are seeking nurses who share our philosophy of developing girls to their fullest potential in a rustic environment.  Our nurses are an integral part of our camp community and this position provides an opportunity to spend a summer in an idyllic setting while honing primary care nursing skills within a healthy pediatric population.  Our Healthcare Center provides 24 hour coverage and is typically staffed with 2 nurses.  We have 24 hour access to a local physician for consults and same day appointments, and are located within 30 minutes of major medical facilities.

It snowed yesterday,   December 9th.

November Camp News – low water is the most noticeable change around camp.  Look how big Blueberry Island is and you can walk all the way out except about 5 feet of shallow water.   Below is the view back to Swallows from near where the houseboat would usually float.

Charlie’s new book – “Camp Wohelo Girls are We” is getting rave reviews all around and is a popular Christmas gift.  A load in Mark’s car ready for the Post Office below.  $20 for the book shipped ($40 for her first book too).  Mail check to Wohelo Camps.

A little Wohelo montage that Louise made this winter.
