We’ve officially welcomed fall at Wohelo, and it’s been exciting to see so many enrollments already coming in for 2026!
We had two spectacular weddings at Wohelo this September. Now, the leaves are turning, the days are getting shorter, and the air is crisp. Boats are tucked away for the season, and our Wo Workforce has launched right into off-season projects. The team is also busy repairing cabins, boats, and more—we’re so grateful for their hard work!
Last week, Mark, Heidi, Louse, and Reed attended a Maine Summer Camps meeting at Migis Lodge. It was great connecting with other camp professionals to share lessons learned from this past summer. These conversations help us plan for even stronger summers ahead.

The Importance of Seven Weeks
Through our long history, we believe in the importance of our seven-week program and the positive impact it has on our campers’ experiences and the camp community as a whole. Seven weeks allow campers to cultivate friendships, build confidence, and learn life-long skills. Campers return home feeling independent, strong, and proud of who they are. While the rest of the world is increasingly hectic, Wohelo is not. A summer at Wohelo represents a series of life-changing experiences that will benefit girls for the rest of their lives.
We were thrilled to have Chris Hanson at Wohelobration, capturing our alumni on film! Chris has been filming at Wohelo for ten summers and is the creator of the “I am Wohelo” series. Check out the incredible memories he captured above!
