Having Fun on Sebago
We are heading into February energized after a very busy start to the year! January began with a wonderful Staff Winter Weekend, followed by our regional gatherings, and visitors to Wohelo.
At camp, Sebago Lake is currently a sheet of rare black ice—an event Mark says happens once every 10 years or more. You can see the Copernicus Sentinel-2 polar-orbiting satellite image of the lake from February 2nd above. We even saw the revival of a piece of history: Mark and friends rigged an ice boat last sailed by his grandfather, Halsey Gulick, 60ish years ago. Seeing camp from the frozen lake was awesome.
We hope you all are staying warm and enjoying the start to the year. We are looking forward to gaining 70+ minutes of sunlight this month. One step closer to June!

Winter Gatherings - Connections and Excitement for the Summer!
We had wonderful gatherings in NYC, Greenwich, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington. It was great to connect with campers’ past, present, and future, as well as parents and alumni. A special thank you to all of our incredible hosts. We appreciate you opening your homes to Wohelo!
Here's to you, Bobby!
We were sorry to hear about Bob Weir’s recent passing, but it made us that much more thankful for the Wohelo chorus version of Ripple from this summer. Many thanks to Ryder for her leadership, organization, creativity, and vision for putting together such a wonderful performance. We’re so happy to have this treasured memory.
