A Wacky winter including this March. The Ice in front of camp reformed three times and kept getting broken up by the waves. Here is a compilation of drone footage from this winter.
Don’t forget Spruce Up Weekend May 27th-29th, Memorial Day 2017
Sebago Wohelo 2016 staff member Lili Dixon made this video about Pre-Camp and her adventures last summer. We are looking forward to having her back this summer:)
Looks like a great crew of staff and campers at both camps for 2017.
Little Camp is filled for this summer, Sebago Wohelo still has a few spots open.
We can’t wait for June!
One thing we will miss greatly this coming summer is Sandy Tattersall, who passed away this month. It is impossible to describe how awesome a camp person Sandy was and how many lives he positively affected in the 53 years he was at Camp Timanous.
People like Sandy are really what make camps like Timanous and Wohelo such special places.

This bound volume was Hiiteni’s (Charlotte V. Gulick) inside were all the first issues of Wohelo magazine 1913-1915 . Hiiteni spearheaded, edited and wrote for the magazine (also referred to as Mrs. L. H. Gulick) as they were getting rolling with the Camp Fire Girls.
We scanned all these magazines this winter – WOHELO MAGAZINE 1913-1915
In 1920 the magazine changed to ‘Everygirl’s Magazine” which was published until 1933.
Monthly Maggie Roger’s Update –
She asked to use old (1920’s) Wohelo Videos as her backdrop at SXSW Festival in Austin.
