A great summer so far, weather has been beautiful.

The ZIP, our 26′ Chris Craft Continental, built in 1956 and purchased by Halsey Gulick in 1965, has seen many trips out on Sebago Lake, including what looks like it’s last trip. Wooden boats are beautiful but the current upkeep on this boat is prohibitive to us and we are going to sell it. The current motor is pretty much shot, but the Original motor is here, a 1958 Chrysler Hemme M45S, not in working order, but was in reasonable shape when it was retired in 1996. We’re looking for the buyer who wants this great boat so much that we’ll get a good start on a replacement for next summer. That buyer might be hard to find, any suggestions of where we might list it are welcome.
Time to brainstorm what would be the perfect Wohelo Boat (OK maybe second perfect, the ZIP might keep that claim for awhile:) Fan page to come……..

Alumni Weekend 2016
September 9th-11th
All generations
We are already planning our 2016 Alumni reunion for the weekend after Labor Day in 2016. We’ll be doing a couple days of maintenance before the weekend for those with strong backs and flexible schedules who can come early to help put away Wohelo for the winter. Then on Friday night we’ll start the weekend program of activities, cabin life and enjoying friendships at Wohelo. More to come over the coming year……
