Sebago Lake is beautiful even when it is cold!   It is interesting to think that even though Luther and Charlotte Gulick loved Sebago Lake since they started camp here in 1907, they never would have been able to see it like it is right now.  Difficult travel from New York as well as the lack of winterized buildings at camp made the trip unlikely.  We wish we could share these photos from the past month with them.

Nursing Opportunities at Wohelo –  Do you know a nurse that would enjoy a summer at Wohelo?

Wohelo is a 107 year old family run all-girls’, residential summer camp located on the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake just outside of Portland, Maine. We are seeking nurses who share our philosophy of developing girls to their fullest potential in a rustic environment. Our nurses are an integral part of our camp community and this position provides an opportunity to spend a summer in an idyllic setting while honing primary care nursing skills within a healthy pediatric population. Our Healthcare Center provides 24 hour coverage and is typically staffed with 2 nurses. We have 24 hour access to a local physician for consults and same day appointments, and are located within 30 minutes of major medical facilities.
